New magnet boards!
I have a long blank wall with about 1/3 of it covered with a whiteboard. I wanted to add more display space, but I didn’t want traditional bulletin boards, I wanted a bit more pizazz. I also like the flexibility of magnet boards (which my whiteboard is not). I had two large 4 x 3 galvanized steel panels sitting in the garage, and I bought two more at Home Depot, and I had an answer.

I bought some wall board anchors/screws as well as some narrow strips of wood to frame around the sheet so that no sharp edges would be exposed. Home Depot cuts wood for free, then I painted the wood.
I drew a straight line to line up the top of the panels. I used a nail and punctured four holes at each corner of the panel. I had a friend help me hold the panel, lined up with my penciled straight line, then I marked the four holes onto the wall. That is where I drilled in the four wall board anchors, following the package instructions. Then I attached the panel to the wall. After I put up all four panels, about a 1/2 an inch apart. I then did basically the same method to put up the frames. Here is what it all looks like, with nothing on them. You can see that I accidentally purchased two different finishes (the shiny ones, are the older panels). So I just made a pattern from them.

I think they look pretty cool! What do you think?
