Keeping Track of Assignments

By emwadmin

I added this information board to the front of my 4-5th grade class.

2013-12-27 10.45.30It’s a sheet of galvanized metal, so that I can use magnets. But the best part of it is the assignment section. Here is a close up:

I laminated a 11 x 17 piece of paper so that I could write on it with vis-a-vis markers. I write down the assignments for the week. And it gives my students a quick view of any assignments that they might have missed, have unfinished, as well as what’s coming up. I just updated it at the beginning of the week, but throughout the week I will add the assignments for next week as usually they come up in our discussions. You would think I would neaten it up for this picture, but never have enough time.
