I will confess, I didn’t really make this creative lamp. I have an amazing parent designer who asked me if I needed any help setting up my classroom. I had just bought a lamp kit and a $1 lamp shade to add a bit of drama to my classroom. (This is what I did last year.) I like to have home touches throughout my class.
I removed the fabric from the shade to expose the wire frame. At this point, the helpful parent took on the rest of the project. She used a bunch of paint swatches and hot glue to make this amazing lamp that hangs over the computer area. She attached two swatches together along the width and then glued each one onto the top and middle of the wire frame.
I hope the paint departments don’t start charging for these fun swatches!
