Stocking Stuffer #1 – Giving Back Idea
Our school has a tradition of helping the less fortunate every year. Last year we made easy fleece blankets for the Humane Society. This year, we are having a book drive for another school’s library. We decorated the office tree with bookmarks that lists the requested titles of books. Families pick a bookmark or two, and they have the option of writing their name and a note in a special book plate. Our school has a lot of Scholastic credit from a recent book fair, so we are matching all the books purchased by our families.
Stockin Stuffer #2 – Holiday Math Tip

Throughout most of the school year, your lovely angelic learners are focused and amazing angels. But often during the holiday season they can get distracted and fidgety. Be patient with them and be patient with yourself. Plan on using a lot of games and activities to captivate their energy.
* Plan a class holiday party, with a budget.
* Play online computer math games to help your angels have fun while still learning. Try out my free Holiday Math Games.
Before you know it, you will have survived the holiday season and your angels will have returned to normal!
The next stop on this festive hop is over at Miss Math Dork. You can check out her post by clicking on the image below!
Hope you have a peaceful holiday season!
