1 – I have been a teacher for over ten years. Before that I was a Project Manager for a software company.
2 – I have taught at the same school, mainly math for 2nd-4th graders, though I have also taught 6-7th grade math.
3 – Our school values experience and real-life authentic learning, using projects and hands-on activities.
4 – We have always wanted our students to be critical-thinkers, problem-solvers, collaborators, and communicators.
5 – Our school has embraced Common Core, as it dovetails our philosophy.
6 – In my limited spare time, I browse Pinterest, and probably make about 1 out of 20 pinned crafts.
7 – I love my family and dog!
