Fraction Of The Day Worksheets Print Or Digital And Google Ready

These 30 fraction (basic to mixed numbers) sheets can be used to reinforce, review, and challenge fraction knowledge. The collection progresses from basics like 1/2 and 1/4 to challenging mixed numbers like 7 3/13. Each sheet reviews the following:

* adding and subtracting fractions

* saying fractions

* converting to improper fractions

* doubling the fraction (helps to understand multiplication and division)

* splitting in 1/2

* placing them on a number line

* ordering them

Each page also has a “think about it” challenge, like “What is 1/8 of 1? What is 1/8 of 2? What is 1/8 of 3? Do you see a pattern?”

Your students do not need to know any tricks or algorithms to figure these out, they just need time to think and see patterns.

How can I use this product?

As a whole class activity, by displaying the PDF file in front of the class, or printing and copy a set for each student to have them work through the sheets on their own or in a small group setting. I have placed them in sheet protectors and had students write on them using dry erase markers/washable markers. You can now assign this in Google Classroom.
