The problems progress from simpler to more difficult and covers representing fractions, fraction equivalents, adding, subtracting, multiplying (fraction x whole number) and dividing (whole number / fraction), though students don’t need to know the algorithms, but rather a good understanding of fractions.

This set of task cards can be used for a math center. I have used these as prompts for their math journal or as a whole group activity.

These use a pizza delivery business with real life questions about pizza orders, delivery miles, etc.
